Gameplay[]
Players can explore and roleplay in a contemporary seaside city. There are many interactive activities in the buildings across the city. Players can own different types of residences - houses, mansions, apartments or hotel rooms. The game has no currency, but Robux may be used to purchase better items.
The player's phone is an important useful piece of technology which can be used for several purposes such as: spawning a vehicle, equipping roleplay items, buying houses, viewing the map, spawning pets, customizing avatars, messaging other players, or taking photos.
Locations[]
Metro Life's map consists of two main islands - the west island contains the main city while the east island contains the house plots. A third island named Paradise Island is located south of the city island.

Public Transport[]
Metro Life has an underground train network operating on a single-line loop - also known as the 'metro', hence the name of the game. A single train runs on this line operating clockwise along the loop. It consists of three carriages (each with two doors) and has a total of 38 seats. The train takes about 3 minutes to travel the whole loop network including stopping times.
Metro Life also has two bus lines, which are the Downtown Loop (transit bus) and the Tourist Express (tourist bus). The transit bus is a single-decker with 8 seats while the tourist bus is a double-decker with 22 seats.
Metro Life also has two airports, the north airport is Metro Airport and the south airport is Paradise Airport. Players can board a plane, that flies between these two airports many times each day.
