What precision can I expect from my Mühle wristwatch?
It is normal for mechanical watches to display a certain amount of tolerance because fluctuating temperatures, the tension of the winder springs or the position in which a watch is stored or worn can all affect its operation and accuracy. As we do not know how a watch will be worn, we always regulate our watches so that they are slightly fast, with a precision of between 0 and max. +8 seconds per day. Why? Because we want to ensure that Mühle watch wearers are never too late because of their time measuring instruments.
How often does my mechanical Mühle wristwatch need to be serviced?

Die Marke Mühle Glashütte steht heute vor allem für robuste, zuverlässige und moderne Sportuhren, die an Land eine genauso gute Figur machen wie in der Luft oder auf hoher See. Das Design der Zeitmesser ist funktional, klar und aufgeräumt. Jedes noch so kleine Detail der Uhr ist zweckmäßig und durchdacht.
Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte steht auf dem Fundament einer ebenso bewegten wie bewegenden Tradition. 1994 gründet Hans-Jürgen Mühle das Familienunternehmen in seiner heutigen Form neu.
Bekannt sind Marken wie A. Lange & Söhne, Nomos und Glashütte. Heute tragen Stars wie Bruce Springsteen oder Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier und Ex-US-Präsident Bill Clinton eine Uhr aus Glashütte am Handgelenk.
Lange & Söhne. Das Modell ist die komplizierteste und exklusivste Uhr der Manufaktur aus Glashütte und befindet sich in einem Gehäuse aus Rotgold. Nur sechs Exemplare will der Hersteller bauen. 1,92 Millionen Euro kostet jedes Exemplar.
Lange & Söhne ist heute die geschützte Marke der deutschen Uhrenmanufaktur Lange Uhren GmbH aus Glashütte in Sachsen. Die Lange Uhren GmbH gehört wiederum zur Richemont-Gruppe.
Eine mechanische Uhr aus Glashütte erkennt man an Besonderheiten wie der Dreiviertelplatine (statt einer Konstruktion mit mehreren Brücken), dem Glashütter Sonnenschliff oder den gebläuten Schrauben oder Zeigern.
Anders als bei Schweizer Uhrwerken wurden in Glashütte seit 1864 traditionell fast alle Lagerstellen in einer einzigen Räderbrücke untergebracht. Sie bedeckt Dreiviertel der Werkfläche und birgt alle beweglichen Teile, vom Federhaus bis zum Ankerrad. Diese Konstruktion verleiht dem Uhrwerk zusätzliche Stabilität.
Glashütte Original verspricht für jede Uhr mit dem Kaliber 36 allerhöchste Qualität und äußerste Präzision. Im Rahmen der 24-tägigen Excellence-Prüfung wird jedes Modell einem ausführlichen Testverfahren unterzogen, das umfänglich über die Maßnahmen der deutschen Chronometerprüfung hinausgeht.
Die Mühle, die erste und älteste naturkraftgetriebene Maschine der Welt, hat bereits 1200 Jahre vor Christus in der künstlichen Bewässerung durch Wasserschöpfräder in Mesopotamien ihren Ursprung. Die ersten europäischen Müller waren die Römer.
