Registration Information
It is the responsibility of the student to work with their counselor regarding the appropriate course selection for credit as well as the impact summer school coursework may have on the student’s GPA/Graduation requirements.
Payment is expected via Credit Card at time of registration.
You will receive a welcome emailon June 14th which will include all of the necessary information about your class(es).

FAQ
Who can attend Summer School?
- A student in good academic standing entering in the 9th - 11th grade.
- A student who is interested in taking classes for credit advancement.
- A student who wants to open up their schedule for the following year.
How many credits can I earn?
Students can earn one (1) credit total (session 1 & 2) upon successful completion of course, final exam and required attendance
Credit will be determined by home school for out-of-district students.
What is the Summer School Schedule?
- Session I - June 17, 2024-July 1, 2024(Final Exam July 1, 2024)
- Session II - July 2, 2024- July 18, 2024(No school July 4& 5)(Final Exam July 18, 2024)
What time does the class begin and end?
- Classes are from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
What is the Tuition?
- Novi Student: $330 per class (0.5 credit)
- Out-of-district Students: $360 per class (0.5 credit)

What is the Attendance/Credit/Policy?
- Students are REQUIRED to attend the entire 11-days per semester
- Students whose vacation and/or camp schedule interferes with the summer school schedule should not enroll
- Absences will result in being dropped, with no refund, and loss of credit
- Novi Summer School is an intensive fast-paced program that offers the opportunity to earn a .5 credit in 11 days
What is the Code of Conduct?
- The Novi Community Schools code of Conduct will be followed by all summer school students.
- Summer School is a closed campus program.
- No visitors are permitted on school property.
What about Lunch?
- New this year: "A la carte" items will be sold by Novi Food Service. Cash or credit/debit cards can be used.
When is Registration?
- Registration begins May 2, 2024- June 9, 2024

Summer School Refresher Classes PreK - 6th

Summer refresher classes offer a review and reinforce what students learned during the past school year. Please register for the grade attended during the 2023-2024school year.
PreK-6th Grade: JUNE 17, 2024- JULY 18, 2024(no School July 4)
Classes meet Monday-Thursday:
Math: 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
Language/Literacy: 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
***A current report cardis required to be turned into the teacher on the first day of school.***
(PreK Students must have completed 4 year old preschool to register)

Please Note: The 2024Novi Summer Camp (formerly C.A.R.E.) will be held at Novi Woods. Students enrolled in Grades K-6 Summer School may participate in the 2024Novi Summer Camp program. Drops:All refunds will be issued via a district check.

June 10, 2024 - 2nd Day of Class: $100 per class
No refunds will be issued for any drop request submitted after the beginning of day 3
Any drops requested on or after day 5 will result in an E.
Summer School Refresher -
- Full refund if a class is cancelled by the office due to low enrollment
- Family Requested Refund: A request must be made prior to the end of the first week of classes, regardless of attendance
- There is a $15cancellation fee per class for processing a refund
